Vermont Real Estate License Requirements
Vermont Real Estate Salesperson License Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete a 40 hour, state approved pre-license course
- Pass a proctored final exam with at least a 70%
- Pass the state exam with at least a 75% and at least a 70% on the Uniform Section
Vermont Real Estate Broker License Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Must have at least 2 years experience as a licensed salesperson
- Complete a 40 hour, state approved pre-license course
- Pass a proctored final exam with at least a 70%
- Pass the state exam with at least a 75% and at least a 70% on the Uniform Section
Vermont Real Estate Salesperson and Broker Continuing Education Requirements
Every 2 years licensees numst take a total of 16 hours of continuing education including 4 hours of mandatory courses. The remaining 12 hours of real estate education are electives and can be from general or prescribed courses. All licensees are required to renew every two years. Brokers renew on March 31st and Salesperson renew on May 31st.
